Job Overview
We are looking for two motivated and unified Camp Mosquito Bait Overnight Workers to join our Children and Family department. This position is designed for individuals who have a dedication to working with youth to create a fun and safe environment of play, learning, and growth. The Camp Mosquito Bait Overnight Workers will provide essential support to our team during the night by assisting youth needing support overnight. This is a contracted position that runs from June 30, 2026 to July 4, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Staff and Youth Support:
• Assisting staff in evening protocols such as hygiene, medication administration, and supper time clean up.
• Overnight Assistance:
• Watch over the campground to ensure youth are staying in tents.
• Provide overnight assistance to youth needing help finding washrooms or needing supplies overnight.
• Reporting:
• Report any youth injuries, grievances, or concerns to the Youth Worker.
• Provide a proper handover to daytime staff during shift change.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required, but relevant experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• First Aid Level 1 and Class 5 Drivers Licence not required, but preferred.
Conditions of Employment
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check.
Salary: To be determined.
Hours: Up to 50 contracted hours.
