G Force is currently seeking dedicated and professional Security Guards to become part of our team in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. As a Security Guard, your presence will contribute to fostering a welcoming, professional, and reassuring atmosphere where employees and customers can feel confident and at ease. Job Duties:
- Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at entry points and throughout the facility.
- Monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access while providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and identify, document, and report potential security risks or suspicious activities.
- Assist visitors, customers, and employees courteously and professionally.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment.
- Collaborate with management and team members to address concerns and resolve security-related issues.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, and timely incident and activity reports.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid British Columbia Security License (mandatory).
- Previous security guard or customer service experience required.
- Excellent grooming, presentation, and adherence to uniform standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse groups of people.
- Superior observational and problem-solving skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability, particularly under pressure.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable standing and patrolling for extended periods.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to attend training or meetings as required.
