Our organization is seeking outgoing, responsible and motivated individuals to fill our part-time Host/Host positions. The ideal candidate for this position is detail oriented, a good communicator and possesses excellent customer service skills. The Host/Host is responsible for greeting and seating the public in an entertaining and professional manner, maintaining tables and keeping them clean throughout the shift, presenting menus to customers and taking food orders. This is an excellent position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a fun team, as well as someone who has a passion for great food and enjoys interacting with people.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers cheerfully.
- Assist with seating customers.
- Check on customers to ensure they are satisfied with their orders and service.
- Handle customer complaints in a timely, effective manner.
- Communicate with other restaurant employees about customers' needs.
- Communicate with kitchen staff about customers' orders and food preparation status.
