Browning Harvey Ltd. is a locally owned and operated bottler of Pepsi Cola Products in Newfoundland and Labrador and is a recognized local market leader in the brand name Liquid Refreshment Beverage Category in this province. The company has also recently expanded to distribute Labatt products in Western NL.
THE ROLE – SUMMER STUDENT – MERCHANDISER – CENTRAL - WESTERN REGION

Browning Harvey Ltd. has a Summer Student opportunity available for the position of a Merchandiser in the Central – Western NL region for the 2026 Summer Season. The successful candidate would service and merchandise stores within the Gander region – Corner Brook region. The number of days/weeks that the successful candidate would be needed in a specific region (i.e. – one week in Gander region and the next week in Corner Brook region) would be communicated and confirmed closer to start date as this will be determined by current Browning Harvey Ltd. employee vacation times, etc. The majority of work for the summer would be located in the Corner Brook region. A milage rate reimbursement will be provided to successful candidate as the role requires business travel.
This position requires the successful candidate to:
· Promote Browning Harvey Ltd. products in their designated area.
· Service assigned stores on a regular, timely basis.
· Fully stock all mainline shelves, displays, coolers, and racks as per company policy.
· Effectively order and manage products and inventory levels for all accounts.
· Rotate all stock based on company policy with respect to coolers, racks, etc.
· Ensure placement and maintenance of all promotional materials and signage.
· Communicate clearly with customers on a regular basis.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will possess:
· Studying a post-secondary education in a business or marketing related field;
· Sales and/or customer service background;
· Ability to perform effective in-store merchandising activities;
· Superior oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills;
· Will be results-focused;
· Excellent customer service skills;
· Strong organizational and time management skills;
· Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision making skills;
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
· Comfortable with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting;
· Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license / acceptable drivers abstract and be able to provide a Certificate of Conduct.

Pay - $17 per hour
