We are looking for a Backhoe Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a backhoe to excavate and move earth, backfill, pack and break concrete. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating heavy equipment and have excellent problem-solving skills. We are looking for an individual who is safety-conscious and is able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Maneuver backhoe to grade surfaces according to specifications.
- Inspect backhoe for safety and maintenance issues.
- Load and unload materials from the backhoe.
- Operate backhoe in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow safety procedures when operating the backhoe.
- Maintain a clean work area.
Pay: $31.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70.0 – 72.0 per week
