Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 309A Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and safety procedures, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure efficient and safe operations. The 309A Electrician will play a critical role in supporting renovation, construction, and maintenance activities within our facilities.
Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work in accordance with safety standards.
- Conduct renovations and upgrades on existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure.
- Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential and commercial work.
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial applications.
- Valid 309A Electrical License or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, Ontario electrical code
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction-related equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and renovation procedures.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $34.00-$39.00 per hour
