Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other food items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
- Handle cashier responsibilities, including processing payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas, adhering to sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order completion
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth workflow during shifts
- Provide friendly customer service, addressing questions or concerns professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred, especially in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and communication
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
