Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver (Class 3) to join our team. Based in Salmon Arm BC, this role is vital for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials essential to our projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 3 trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials to various job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance is up to date.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle usage.
- Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly.
- Support the company's commitment to safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license.
- Proven experience operating trucks in construction or related industries.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks.
