Job Description
King Freight Lines Limited is seeking a Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team in our Pictou, NS location. We are looking for a qualified technician who will perform work on our fleet of Company Vehicles, keeping them in top operating condition.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems
- Perform vehicle computer diagnostics
- Repair vehicle mechanical systems
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety guidelines - injury prevention policies
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and cleanliness
- Report work accidents or emergencies to management immediately
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Red Seal (preferred), may consider a second or third block apprentice
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team including supervision of apprentices
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have valid driver’s license (Class 3 or 1 would be an asset)
- Must be able to legally work in Canada without sponsorship
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
