Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing residential and commercial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs while also assisting wherever needed to support our team and ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Applicants must have a City of Winnipeg Contractor's Licence or be willing to obtain one.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and schematics. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and team members to deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Lucrative bonus plan!
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems in accordance with applicable codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Assist other departments and technicians wherever needed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Skills
- Red Seal Electrician
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must have a City of Winnipeg Contractor's Licence or be willing to obtain one
4-day work weeks are an option.
