Title: Engineering-Mechanical Technician
Location: Calgary, AB T5A 0A5
Duration: 3 months plus extensions
Job Description:
Ability to read and understand interpretation of PFDs, P&IDs, GAs, Procedures, Data Sheets, etc.
Work in a heavy industrial environment requiring use of Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and other similar irritants typical of those found in refinery, chemical plants, power plants, etc., as required.
Mechanically inclined with a good working knowledge of rotary equipment such as blowers, pumps, motors and compressors.
Technical Aptitude to understand flow rates, pressures, temperatures, volumes, percentages, etc in both imperial and metric units
Ability to read and maneuver through HMI screens related to production equipment.
Communicate clearly and effectively with oral and written performance KPIs to all stakeholders. Includes daily reporting.
Ability to understand and follow strict EHS requirements for the safety of themselves and others around them.
Required to work with chemicals related to equipment CIP (Clean in Place) of filters and membranes.
Ability to perform Preventative Maintenance on relevant equipment and instrumentation (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, etc).
