Auto Body Apprentice
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Autobody Apprentice to join our Shop. Under the supervision of experienced technicians, the apprentice will learn and assist in repairing, restoring, and refinishing vehicles to pre-accident condition. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the autobody repair industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for repair or painting (e.g., sanding, masking).
- Perform basic dent repairs and panel replacements under supervision.
- Help mix and apply primers, paints, and clear coats.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, and autobody equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with shop policies and industry regulations.
- Assist with inventory, parts ordering, and receiving tasks as needed.
- Support journeyperson technicians with various autobody repair tasks.
- Participate in on-the-job and off-site apprenticeship training (if applicable).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Enrollment in a recognized autobody apprenticeship program (or willingness to enroll).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and strong interest in vehicle repair.
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform manual labor.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (preferred).
Desirable Skills:
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and shop equipment.
- Previous shop or automotive experience is an asset but not required.
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
