RD Landscaping Inc is a full-service landscape company providing professional residential and commercial landscape construction, maintenance, hardscapes, and irrigation installations in Kelowna and the surrounding area.
RD Landscaping Inc is looking for an experienced Landscape Pest Management Division Manager to organize and oversee the daily operations of our Pest Management division. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.
The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the division and not be afraid to step into the field, if required.
The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the operations director to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the pest management division to ensure smooth progress
- Supervise, hire and train staff and provide constructive feedback on multiple crews and job sites
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the landscaping industry particularly as it pertains to pest management
- Proven experience as a manager or senior supervisor or equivalent position
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- A horticultural degree or similar certification
- Pesticide applicator (IPM) licence is required
- Ability to drive truck/trailer
- Ability to drive a skid steer is an asset
- Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
- Familiarity with MS Office and various business software
- Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot without supervision
- Clean driver's abstract

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Experience:
- Landscape: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Integrated Pest Management IPM Certificate (preferred)
