Job Summary
We are seeking full time and part time reliable DZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering bulk water to our residential and commercial customers in the Niagara Region.
Duties
- Safely operate our DZ Tandem axle commercial tankers
- Conduct daily and routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with customers and supervising personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime.
Experience
- Must have proven 3 years driving experience in commercial driving
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on the role.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to commerical driving
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently in various environments.
- Prior experience in automotive repair or troubleshooting is a plus, demonstrating mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Must have a smart phone with data. Reimbursment is provided.
