About the Role
As the Manager of Human Services Faculty, you will provide leadership and oversight for our Human Services programs, including:

Human Services Counsellor
-
Policing & Corrections Foundations
-
Early Childhood Educator / Educational Assistant
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Academic, you will lead a team of dedicated instructors and staff while helping shape the next generation of helping professionals.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Human Services who is excited about mentoring others, building positive student experiences, and ensuring programs remain connected to current industry practices and workforce needs.

What You’ll Do

Inspire and support faculty teams in delivering engaging, student-centered education

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment focused on student success and retention

Mentor instructors and support continuous improvement in teaching and learning

Build strong relationships with students and support them throughout their educational journey, including guidance and coordination for On-the-Job Training (OJT) placements.

Collaborate with Student Services and academic teams to support at-risk students and improve student outcomes

Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, practicum partners, and employers

Ensure programs remain current, relevant, and aligned with industry expectations

Support program reviews, curriculum enhancements, and quality assurance initiatives

Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of faculty and staff

Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, professionalism, and collaboration

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience within the Human Services field

Leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team development experience considered a strong asset

Strong understanding of Human Services practice, community support systems, and working with vulnerable populations

Passion for student success, mentorship, and supporting future helping professionals
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
-
Ability to lead with empathy, professionalism, accountability, and positivity
-
Experience in post-secondary education or adult learning environments is considered an asset
