The Strategic Pricing Department is looking for a candidate to fill the role Quote Specialist. The successful candidate would be willing to take ownership of their position, take initiative, possess the ability to learn and commit to being a team player to provide a premier customer experience.
This role reports to our Milton, ON facility and required 4 days in office with the option of 1 day remote in a week.
Hiring Range: $78,000 - $85,000
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Maintain a disciplined quote structure for nonstandard pricing.
Review all requests for quote and appropriately makes decisions which will ultimately improve the profit levels of the division, taking into effect the current market situations and risk to the division.
Responsible for quote delivery and initial follow up.
Co-ordinate special price agreements (spa’s) and their renewals.
Assist with quote renewals and price increase implementation.
Adhere to the Parker Performance Standards metrics.
Process daily quotations of nonstandard product lines and maintain in in-house and external database.
Commit to assigning market pricing with complete focus on increasing market share of division products.
Maintain product knowledge with divisional products as well as those of Parker’s competitors.
Responsible for keeping competitive information up to date.
Communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:

Post Secondary Education or Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field preferred

Minimum of 3 years of related work experience

Fluid Power certificate or related technical diploma is considered an asset
Skills:
Strong analytical skills
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Microsoft office capable -Word, PowerPoint, Access/ Proficient in Excel
Willingness to use Parker mainframe(s) and Motion and Control Data Warehouse
