Part of the Flodraulic Group of companies, Omniflex Hose & Equipment supplies a wide variety of hose and fittings from low pressure to super high pressure, air, hydraulic and specialty fluids, low and high temperature with a multitude of fitting configuration and thread styles from around the world to meet the needs of diverse industrial customers. We have an immediate requirement for a Hose Assembler/Counter Associate for our Toronto (Etobicoke), Ontario location.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR AT OMNIFLEX
- We are looking for great attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy as you will be responsible for inputting inventory into our computer system as well as checking inventory levels
- Experience in a similar field is an asset; working in industrial parts warehouse distribution or hose and fitting industry
- You are interested in learning about a new industry and product; you will be producing hose assemblies according to specifications with a high level of compliance to safety and quality standards
- You ensure that the shipping and receiving departments are effective and organized
- You have good problem-solving skills and use your logic and experience to solve issues
- You have outstanding teamwork skills; communicating effectively with your teammates to get the job done
- You have a solid knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office, Prophet 21/P21)
- You are mechanically-inclined; you enjoy to get hands-on with tools, equipment, and learn new skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of high school diploma or post-secondary education
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an asset
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently
- Knowledge of hose fittings and assembly procedures would be an asset
- Knowledge of Prophet 21 (P21) an asset
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team
