Lincoln Dental Care (Welland) is hiring a Dental Administrator (Concierge)
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service in a healthcare setting? At Lincoln Dental Care, we’re redefining what a dental experience should feel like—and we’re looking for a warm, organized, and service-driven Dental Concierge to be at the heart of it.
This is not your typical front desk role. As a Dental Concierge, you’ll be the first and lasting impression for our patients, creating a welcoming, seamless, and personalized experience from start to finish. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy connecting with people, and take pride in delivering outstanding service, we’d love to meet you.
Specifics about the role:
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 8-24 hours a week (clinic operates 7 days a week, until 9 pm Mon–Fri and until 6 pm on weekends)
Wage range: $20-23/hour, depending on the candidate's experience
Your Responsibilities
While your day-to-day will be dynamic, your core responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the first point of contact—welcoming patients in person, over the phone, and via email with a high standard of care
- Coordinating and optimizing appointment schedules, including filling last-minute openings
- Managing patient inquiries, referrals, and communication with external offices
- Clearly explaining treatment plans, insurance coverage, and out-of-pocket costs or payment options
- Processing billing for patients and insurance providers while maintaining accurate financial records
- Following up on outstanding accounts receivable from both patients and insurers
- Maintaining up-to-date patient records and entering data into electronic systems
What You Bring
- A minimum of six months to one year of experience in a customer-facing service, administrative, or reception role is required.
- Availability to work flexible hours (clinic operates 7 days a week, until 9 pm Mon–Fri and until 6 pm on weekends)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first mindset
- A friendly, calm, and professional demeanor
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- IPAC certification is an asset, but not required
