Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skilled Labourer/Helper to join our team. As a Skilled Labourer,/Helper you will be responsible for performing various manual tasks to support our operations. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
$65 Per Diem is given as compensation.
Duties:
- Winter months the work schedule is 8 - 4:30 Monday to Friday. Demand service on evenings and weekends maybe required. Summer months the work schedule is (+)12 hours shifts Monday to Friday.
Perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Confined space & working at heights are both required
- Assist with warehouse operations, including organizing and maintaining inventory
- Fabricate and assemble products according to specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
- Ability to pull trailers with one ton truck.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is desired
- Ability to operate a forklift is an asset
-Piping/Plumbing experience is an asset
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge
- Manufacturing or assembly experience
- Ability to operate a forklift safely
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Experience in heavy lifting tasks
- Strong time management skills
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
