Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM (sometimes longer)
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Band Saw Operator to join our meat processing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a power saw to cut frozen meat according to production specifications while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires previous experience operating saws or power tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a band saw to cut frozen meat safely and accurately.
- Follow production specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect products for quality and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health & safety procedures.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment as required.
- Assist with other production duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a band saw is required.
- Experience in a meat processing or food manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Comfortable working with frozen meat products.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work occasional overtime when required.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
