We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Assess client conditions and develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records in compliance with health regulations
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are sanitized and maintained according to safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment procedures, benefits, and expectations
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing board
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and health conditions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatments effectively and address client concerns
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to industry standards
Pay: From $23.50 per hour
