Everclean is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our Operations team. In this role, you will ensure our properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to repair requests, and support preventative maintenance programs across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman duties
- Inspect properties regularly to identify and address maintenance issues and safety concerns
- Repair and maintain building fixtures such as doors, locks, lighting, walls, and flooring
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, tenants, or management
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs across multiple sites
- Safely operate equipment such as scissor lifts (training provided if required)
- Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection standards
- Travel between multiple sites across the Lower Mainland as needed
- Coordinate with supervisors and contractors for larger repairs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and records of completed work
- Other duties as required by the Site Manager/Site Lead
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous handyman or maintenance experience required
- Plumbing experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with general building systems (electrical, carpentry, repairs)
- Scissor Lift and Fall Protection certifications preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred
- Ability to travel and work across multiple sites in the Lower Mainland
- Open availability and flexibility to meet operational needs
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures (WHMIS knowledge is an asset)
