Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator with experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving, loading, unloading, and storing materials while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Move products to designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stack and organize inventory in racking systems.
- Conduct daily pre-operational forklift inspections.
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and follow warehouse procedures.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred or required based on site).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Steel-toe safety boots are required.
