Wireline Operator
Eclipse E-Line Services Inc. is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Wireline Operator to join our field operations team. This is a hands-on position working in remote locations throughout Western Canada on a 15-days-on, 6-days-off rotation.
The successful candidate will assist with wireline logging, perforating and other well intervention services. Previous wireline experience is an asset; however, we are willing to provide training to the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate and assist with wireline equipment during logging, perforating and other well intervention operations.
- Rig up, rig in, operate and rig down wireline equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload and transport tools, equipment and materials.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, driver logs, field reports and required safety documentation.
- Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot wireline tools, vehicles and field equipment.
- Follow all Eclipse and customer safety policies, procedures and site requirements.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, hazard assessments and pre-job safety meetings.
- Work effectively with supervisors, operators, customers and other field personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional work area.
- Perform physically demanding work in changing weather and field conditions.
Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must currently reside in Canada.
- Eclipse is not providing immigration sponsorship for this position.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record is required.
- A Class 3 driver’s licence is strongly preferred.
- Must provide a current driver’s abstract.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights, weekends and statutory holidays when required.
- Ability to work a 15/6 rotational schedule.
- Ability and willingness to work away from home and in remote locations.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn technical equipment and procedures.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and complete written documentation accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous wireline, well intervention, service rig or oil and gas field experience.
- Mechanical knowledge of wireline tools and related equipment.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Valid industry safety certifications are considered an asset.

Applicants who do not currently possess all required safety certifications may still be considered. Eclipse will provide or coordinate required training for the successful candidate.

Pay: $2,600.00-$4,500.00 per month
