PRM Wheelchair Services Agent work under the direction of the Owner/Operator, Shift Lead, and the Manager and/or Coordinator to ensure passengers and customers with disabilities are handled according to specific company policies and procedures. They are part of the overall Flightcraft Family. They will support and work alongside all areas of the Company and foster the team atmosphere of Flightcraft. Quality customer service, attention to detail, company procedures, safety, and teamwork are key components to be a successful agent. They must possess solid verbal and written communication skills, be energetic, outgoing, understanding and accepting of change. They must also be flexible and able to deal with the adapting nature of aviation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers requiring wheelchair services in a dignified and respectful manner.
- Operate and understand wheelchair equipment, including the Eagle Lift.
- Follow all safe work procedures and safe lifting practices.
- Work in physically demanding environments.
- Work safely in confined spaces when required.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers and airline partners.
- Remain sensitive and mindful of passengers with disabilities.
- Maintain professionalism and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous aviation experience considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and assisting passengers safely.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safe work procedures and workplace safety standards.
