Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Labourer specializing in Precast Formwork to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working with heavy-duty materials and equipment to support the production of precast concrete components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments, with the ability to operate various tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Duties
- Assist in the setup and assembly of precast formwork using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery to move materials safely around the worksite
- Perform machining tasks related to formwork fabrication and adjustments
- Weld components as needed to ensure structural integrity of formwork structures
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to construct, repair, or modify formwork molds
- Conduct inspections of formwork for quality control and adherence to specifications
- Support the safe handling and transportation of materials within the warehouse or construction site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in machining, welding, and assembly processes
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing or construction equipment
- Experience with warehouse operations or construction sites is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings or schematics related to precast formwork
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
