Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed to promote health and comfort
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques to ensure safety during movement
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes preferred
- Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies and techniques for managing cognitive impairments
- Ability to administer medications accurately and responsibly
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Capable of performing light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Certification or training in home care or caregiving is an asset; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held

Pay: $17.84-$29.16 per hour
