Overview
We are seeking a reliable General Labourer/Packager to join our team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including equipment operation, packaging, organising, sanitation and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and experience with manufacturing environments.
**Must have a car - Location is not accessible by public transit**
Location: St. George, ON
Pay Rate: $18 to $20 per hour (as per experience)
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
What You'll Do:
- Load materials and remove finished products from the machine.
- Pack, label, and organize finished products according to specifications.
- Operate and monitor production machines safely and efficiently.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality.
- Report machine issues or product defects to the Supervisor.
- Assist with basic machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as required.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all health and safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Complete production and packaging records as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in industrial manufacturing preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working in physically demanding roles requiring attention to safety standards.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
