We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing expert medication management, patient care, and support within a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail pharmacy. Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and legal requirements
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Review patient medication profiles for appropriateness, interactions, and contraindications
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy plans
- Maintain detailed documentation of all pharmacy activities and patient interactions
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols
Experience
- Prior retail pharmacy experience is highly preferred
- Proven ability to deliver excellent patient care in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with pharmacy software system
- An active OCP license in good standing
