Overview
Flow Hydration is looking for a highly organized, resourceful Marketing Specialist to help bring our brand to life across retail, e-commerce, social, launches, partnerships, and more.
This is not a role for someone who needs a detailed playbook for every task. You’ll be a self-starter who can take ownership, keep multiple projects moving at once, spot what needs to be done, and follow through. While you’ll support a broad range of marketing initiatives, your primary focus will be retail marketing - making sure Flow shows up wherever consumers discover and shop the brand.
What You’ll Do
Retail marketing
- Coordinate retail marketing programs across grocery, specialty, and other retail partners.
- Develop and execute in-store materials, including sell sheets, retailer presentations, POS, sampling collateral, displays, promotional assets, and retailer-specific toolkits.
- Support retailer launches, promotions, seasonal programs, and new product rollouts from planning through execution.
- Liaise with printers, vendors, brokers, sales partners, and retail contacts to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
- Maintain retail marketing calendars, asset libraries, inventory, and project trackers.
- Help identify opportunities to improve Flow’s in-store presence and ensure brand consistency across every touchpoint.
Brand
- Help coordinate email marketing campaigns, customer journeys, and promotions for our Shopify and Amazon storefronts.
- Assist with marketing launches, product-development projects, photoshoots, PR initiatives, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with influencers and creators to support product seeding, campaign coordination, and content opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of Flow’s social media strategy, helping align content, campaigns, and e-commerce goals.
- Coordinate timelines, briefs, approvals, assets, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners.
- Create or adapt on-brand marketing materials using tools such as Canva.
- Track campaign results, compile learnings, and recommend practical next steps.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, with hands-on retail marketing experience required.
- Experience supporting a consumer-packaged goods brand; food, beverage, wellness, or lifestyle experience is strongly preferred.
- A strong understanding of retail environments, promotional calendars, point-of-sale materials, retailer needs, and the realities of getting assets into market.
- Experience Klaviyo or other email marketing tools is required.
- Experience with Canva or similar graphic design programs.
- Excellent project-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Strong written communication and a sharp eye for brand, design, and presentation.
- Comfortable working independently, making sound decisions, and bringing solutions.
- A practical, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset. You’re equally comfortable organizing a retail toolkit, updating a product page, coordinating a shoot, and jumping in wherever needed.
- This role requires working primarily during Eastern Time (ET) business hours. Applicants must be based in Canada or the United States.
