Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant Level II, where your expertise will elevate patient care and streamline dental operations. This is a full time 12 month maternity leave contract with possibility of transitioning into a permanent position. In this energetic role, you'll support hygienists and dentists in making sure their days run smoothly . Your proficiency in dental assisting, combined with knowledge of IPAC standards, will be vital to our clinic’s success. Responsibilities
- Working daily in the sterilization lab area maintaining IPAC standards to maintain flow of dentist and hygiene schedules
- Assist dentists whenever necessary during a variety of dental procedures ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms between patients when needed with necessary instruments and materials to keep flow going smoothly
- Manage patient records as necessary using dental practice management software Tracker
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) if needed, adhering to safety protocols and medical terminology standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Certified Dental Assistant Level II or similar role within a busy dental practice
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures in a general dentist environment
- Familiarity with dental software platform Tracker would be an asset
- Experience working with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health treatments
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including children

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
