CanAm Pet Treats is a Vernon-based pet food company and the proud producer of the Darford brand of premium baked dog treats! We are a Safe Quality Food and Organic certified production facility, taking care of our own baking, packaging, and shipping. Our medium-sized company is looking for team members to work in a up-beat, fast-paced, results-driven environment that provides flexibility and opportunity while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This position is full-time [not ideal for students returning to school in the fall (sorry!)]:
- 40 hours/week Monday to Friday
- Day Shift: 6am – 2:30pm
- Occasional Saturday Overtime shift available
Things we require of you:
- Excellent attendance required
- Ability to work as part of a team is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Continuous and daily cleaning of the workplace and equipment
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job
- No allergies to food ingredients used in bakery
- Follow food safety and good manufacturing procedures
- We are open to applicants with beginner level of English, but some English is required for safety as we work with machinery.
