Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and assisting with various operational tasks. This role is crucial in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and handling standards.
- Manage cash transactions, including cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy in basic math calculations.
- Provide help to customers with menu selections and answer any questions regarding food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Light clean up of the store, with closings.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
