Location: Remote - Ontario-Based- live within 2 hour drive of Grimsby ON

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 at 35 hours/week

Growing quickly and looking for a highly skilled, people-focused Bookkeeping Onboarder to join our team. This role is a critical part of the client experience. You will act as the bridge between a new client signing on and their successful transition to their long-term bookkeeping service team. This is not a traditional bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical bookkeeping skills with exceptional people skills, confidence, organization, and process thinking.
- Lead clients through the onboarding process with confidence and care
- Set clients up in QuickBooks Online, Wagepoint, Dext, and other cloud-based systems
- Complete cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping work
- Handle the first few months of bookkeeping to establish clean, accurate foundations
- Identify and solve issues from prior bookkeeping records
- Document workflows and recurring client processes
- Train and transition clients smoothly to their ongoing service team
- Communicate clearly with clients, banks, and internal teams throughout the process
- Resides in Ontario- 2 hour drive to Grimsby for staff events, training etc.
- Strong cloud-based bookkeeping experience with confidence in handling complex files
- Advanced QuickBooks Online experience
- Experience with cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable leading conversations and building client trust
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with cloud-based systems
- Process-minded with a passion for creating efficient, scalable systems
- Someone who enjoys solving problems, untangling messy books, and helping clients feel supported
