Job description:
Managed by Nanoose Bay Cafe & Fairwinds Landing, the Fairwinds Residences & Suites overlooks the beautiful marina on Schooner Bay. Stunning ocean views right on the marina connected to the Nanoose Bay Cafe, Restaurant, Coffee Shop & Marketplace. With 17 elegantly renovated two-bedroom suites, full kitchen, in-suite laundry, 1.5 bathrooms and floor to ceiling windows this is a true west-coast island getaway experience.
We are currently recruiting for the position of Room Attendant/Housekeeper.
What you will do:

Cleaning of guestrooms and guest bathrooms in the allotted time and within our brand. Tasks include: making beds, changing sheets, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning all surfaces, sinks and taps, vanities, tubs, showers, walls and toilets. Cleaning of guest facing public areas and in the restaurant will be required.

Maintaining proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Maintaining a clean and organized housekeeping cart.

Assisting in Laundry Department as required.

Adhering to all Health and Safety Guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a similar position preferred.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, able to stand and be on your feet for 8 hours a day, bend, lift items of up to 50lbs.

Able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.

Able to push, pull and lift heavy loads.
-
Neat in appearance.

Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multi task environment.

Flexible schedule with the ability to work a range of hours including weekends and holidays.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Highly responsible and reliable.
