Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Project Manager, this position will be leading Strathcona’s day to day activities. The Superintendent will be responsible for leading project operations in the field.

General Responsibilities:
- Hire, develop and manage team of Installers to complete AMI meter deployment.
- Assist in Training the Meter Installers
- Administer Field Quality Assurance and warranty issues.
- Manage a team of Field Staff.
- Assist Installers with difficult installs or repairs.
- Install Small, Intermediate and Large meters as required, due to missed appointments, difficult customers or difficult or unusual installs.
- Attend emergency leaks or repairs, respond to afterhours phone calls as required, and complete necessary reports.
- Oversee Safety in the field, ensuring SWP and SOP are followed in the field, tailgates and monthly safety meetings are conducted as per project requirements.
- Investigating incidents/accidents/injuries, completing required reports and providing corrective action or training as required.
- Develop corrective measures to address quality issues around workmanship,
- Provide input to PM for updating project plans, project schedules.
- Assist in overseeing project inventory and ensuring processes are followed
- Respond and document customer complaints and claims.
- Responds to customer inquiries, problem solving in a professional and effective fashion and acting as a resource in resolving customer issues brought to the department.
- Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in meter installation, order entry, purchasing, materials management, requirements forecasting and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide feedback to the Company regarding service failures or customer concerns. Provide feedback to the Field Services team to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information on order status and/or changes.
- Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
Education and Experience:
- TQ as Plumber in Alberta, Red Seal or Diploma/Degree in related field with 5+ years experience
- 3+ years' experience in Plumbing
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, MS Project and Outlook.
- Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
