The Senior Flower Farm Market Garden Worker will work closely with the farm manager/owner to ensure all daily tasks are identified and accomplished by the team for our pick-your-own customers to have the best experience possible in our flower field. This is a versatile job that requires: organizational skills, communication skills, creative skills, problem identifying and solving skills as well as gardening/floriculture skills and leadership skills.
The main tasks will be: customer service, customer flow, point-of-sale system, employee training, scheduling, plant care, weeding, deadheading, display set up, general clean up and social media content and posting, flower harvesting, flower packing and flower (fresh and dried) arranging.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as previous experiences in customer service. Strong interest and/or experience in flower growing and/or arranging is an asset.
Candidates must be available to work every weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
