Monette Produce is seeking an experienced Agricultural Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of our agricultural and heavy-duty equipment fleet in Outlook, Saskatchewan. This is a hands-on role focused on diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance in both shop and field settings.
You’ll work alongside a small team of mechanics, contributing your experience and technical knowledge to keep equipment running safely, efficiently, and ready for seasonal demands. This position is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality work, problem-solving, and supporting a strong team environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural, transport, and heavy-duty equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime
- Support day-to-day shop and field operations alongside other mechanics
- Order parts, assist with inventory tracking, and work with suppliers
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance logs
- Assist with seasonal equipment preparation and teardown
What We’re Looking For
- Red Seal Journeyperson (Heavy Duty, Agricultural Equipment Technician, or equivalent) asset
- 3–5 years of experience working on agricultural, trucking, or heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required; Class 1A is an asset
