Chemical Operations Technician (Warehouse & Manufacturing) for a leading industrial and chemical manufacturing operation. This hands-on role is ideal if you have experience in chemical processing, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or industrial operations who are committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
You will play a key role in receiving, handling, blending, storing, and shipping chemical products while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, prepare, and load liquid and dry chemical products from trucks, tankers, and railcars.
- Connect/disconnect transfer hoses and safely operate loading/unloading equipment.
- Inspect tanks, tankers, railcars, and containers before and after product transfers.
- Verify incoming and outgoing products against shipping/receiving documentation and report discrepancies or damages.
- Conduct product sampling and quality control activities in coordination with laboratory personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, shipping, and transfer records using computer systems.
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders according to specifications and shipping requirements.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and complete daily equipment inspections.
- Transport raw materials to production areas and move finished goods to warehouse storage locations.
- Repackage, fill, label, store, stack, and palletize products in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Handle food-grade, USP, and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable quality and safety requirements.
- Manage warehouse inventory, including product inspections, stock rotation, material relocation, and physical inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility; report and respond to spills, hazards, theft, or property damage.
- Operate scales, process equipment, and hazardous waste storage systems in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Operate and monitor blending, dilution, and manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient production and product quality specifications are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant chemical operations experience may be considered in lieu of some educational requirements.

Minimum 2+ years of experience in chemical, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial operations preferred.

Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification and operate material-handling equipment safely.

Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Proficiency with or ability to learn business and operational technologies, including computers, tablets, smartphones, and process-control systems.

Ability to meet production, quality, and performance standards.

Consistently follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators as required.

Comply with transportation, shipping, placarding, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in safety programs, meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain a strong safety record, reliable attendance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Collaborate effectively with coworkers and other departments in a team-oriented environment.

Successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements, including background checks, references, medical evaluations, and TWIC eligibility where applicable.

Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving materials, standing and walking for extended periods, operating industrial equipment, climbing tanks and railcars, and working in outdoor and varying weather conditions.
