This is a great opportunity to meet the Agricultural community and create networks. This role also involves store maintenance such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Meet, greet and thank customers and provide friendly, informed service to them.
- Guide customers to the location of requested items.
- Locate products in the warehouse.
- Resolve retail and or customer issues, both in person and over the phone.
- Adapt and cope with challenging and changing situations.
- Positive attitude, punctuality and solid work ethic.
- Consistently provide professional customer service, including in situations of conflicts.
- Suggest value-added and related products by actively listening to customers needs.
- Learn about new products on a regular basis.
- Keep up to date with in-store promotions, in-store deals and product locations
- Identify low stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Engage in learning activities and listens to feedback to improve their own abilities
- Standing/Walking for 8 hours with minimal breaks
- Heavy lifting is required, candidate should be comfortable lifting merchandise to "carry out" to customers vehicle. Items may be up to 25KG and may be carried for up to 30 meters. This is store is still rooted in agriculture sales, which means repetitive lifting of up to 25kg will be required for this job. While this is not the primary tasks being performed you must be able to lift 25kg repetitively when we load or receive orders.
