Part-Time Day Programs Manager
J. Garnons Williams Ltd. is seeking a Part-Time Day Programs Manager to provide leadership and oversight for Community Inclusion and Day Program services in Nanaimo and Parksville.
This role is ideal for an experienced, organized leader who values person-centred support, teamwork, and meaningful community inclusion.
About the Role
The Part-Time Day Programs Manager coordinates daily program operations, supports staff, and helps ensure services are consistent, engaging, and aligned with individual goals and service standards.
The position works closely with staff, individuals served, families, caregivers, and community partners across Nanaimo and Parksville.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting Community Inclusion staff
- Coordinating daily program operations and schedules
- Ensuring compliance with agency policies, CLBC expectations, and CARF standards
- Maintaining program records, reports, and documentation
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with families, caregivers, and community partners
- Participating in a shared management on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and guidance as needed
You will be supported by our HR and Finance teams and will collaborate with other managers to maintain high-quality services across the agency.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of successful experience as a care worker or community support worker
- Leadership or supervisory experience in Community Inclusion, Day Programs, or other CLBC-funded services
- Valid Occupational First Aid Certificate
- TB test completed within the past 2 years
- Criminal record check (completed by JGW)
- Reliable transportation
- Class 4 driver's license, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (or signed waiver)
- Reliable, insured vehicle available for work-related travel

- Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to promoting inclusion, dignity, and quality of life for individuals receiving services
