Description:
As an Addiction and Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will contribute to the delivery of community based services to persons with a chronic addiction and/or severe and persistent mental illness using psychosocial rehabilitation principles, promoting client respect, autonomy, health and improved quality of life. Your duties will include carrying out assigned tasks in a client focused recovery plan which includes support to participate in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities. You will work collaboratively with other health and service providers. In this position, you will work under the direction of a regulated health provider.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of one year experience in Mental Health, with the ability to work effectively in a complex and fast-paced environment while managing high-acuity and high-risk situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with working within a multidisciplinary team. Effective communication and teamwork.
