About the role
- We are seeking an SAP Product Owner to represent the Drummondville plant within our Agile delivery teams. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between local operations and the global SAP Agile team, ensuring business needs are translated into well-defined user stories and priorities are effectively managed.
- You will also provide day-to-day support to plant users by responding to basic functional SAP requests.
Key responsibilities
- Product ownership & Agile delivery
- Act as Product Owner representing the Drummondville plant within the company’s Agile framework.
- Define product vision and maximize the value of SAP enhancements.
- Own and manage the SAP product backlog.
- Create, refine, and prioritize user stories.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Make final decisions on conflicting requirements.
- SAP functional support
- Provide Level 1 functional support to plant employees across SAP modules: MM, PP, SD, FICO, and WM.
- Support SAP process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support annual SAP activities such as user recertification.
- Stakeholder communication
- Communicate updates and changes to stakeholders.
- Contribute to user documentation and provide basic training.
Required qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of:
- Material master data
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Routings
- Work centres
- MRP parameters
- Costing
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Query
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Experience with Power Automate or Python scripting
- Familiarity with SAP mass maintenance tools
- Knowledge of costing or inventory management
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in French
