Journeyman Plumber – Full-Time
AMR Plumbing and Gas Ltd. is hiring an experienced and dependable Journeyman Plumber to join our team in the Comox Valley.
We provide residential and commercial plumbing services throughout Vancouver Island, including service work, renovations, new construction, heating systems, and gas fitting. We are not a drain-cleaning company.
Wage and Benefits

What We’re Looking For
- Red Seal or British Columbia Journeyman Plumber certification
- Minimum 10 years of plumbing experience
- Strong experience in service plumbing, renovations, and new construction
- Gas fitting certification and experience are considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of the BC Plumbing Code
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and dependable
- Own basic hand tools
Responsibilities
- Complete residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, renovations, and service work
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures, water-distribution piping, drainage systems, heating equipment, and related components
- Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and plumbing codes
- Complete assigned work efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate job notes, material records, and timesheets
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, suppliers, and team members
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and work areas
- Follow company safety policies and WorkSafeBC requirements
- This position does not involve routine drain-cleaning work
