Peak Improvements Ltd. is an award-winning design-build renovation company serving Edmonton and the surrounding area since 2007. We specialize in high-quality residential renovations, transforming kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, whole-home renovations, garages, and secondary suites.
We're looking for an experienced Carpenter who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a team that delivers exceptional renovations from start to finish.
This hands-on role is responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry and general construction duties on residential and commercial projects.
What You'll Do
As a hands-on member of our team, you'll be involved in all aspects of residential renovations, including:
- Demolition and site preparation
- Framing and structural modifications
- Installation of doors, windows, trim, and finish carpentry
- Cabinet and millwork installation
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Painting and finishing work
- Flooring installation
- General renovation work as required
- Working alongside project managers, designers, trade partners, and homeowners
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site
Every project is different, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and takes ownership of their work.
What We're Looking For
- Residential renovation experience is required
- Strong rough and finish carpentry skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional and respectful when working with clients and trade partners
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Reliable transportation
- Own basic carpentry tools (both hand and power)
Journeyman certification is an asset but not required.
