Community Living Port Colborne~Wainfleet is looking for a friendly and reliable Volunteer to serve our organization. This role involves assisting operations, assisting visitors, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure a positive experience for all guests and all staff.
Responsibilities
As a Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all who interact with us. Your tasks will include:
- Provide information and directing inquiries appropriately
- Manage front desk activities including sign-in procedures and visitor registration
- Assist with data collection and record-keeping to support organizational projects
- Assisting with light administrative and clerical tasks such as photocopying, data entry, and mailings.
- Sharing information about our services and connecting individuals to the appropriate staff or resources.
Qualifications
- Prior administrative experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal interactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent organizational skills
- Comfort with basic office equipment and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- The ability to respect and maintain the privacy of confidential information.
- A passion for our cause in working with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday. Volunteers can choose their hours.
