At the heart of our clinical efforts is McMaster Children’s Hospital (MCH), Ontario’s second- largest children’s hospital, serving a population of over 2.5 million people. Ranked among the world’s top 50 pediatric centers by Newsweek, MCH is home to Canada’s largest neonatal intensive care unit, the province’s most extensive Child and Youth Mental Health Program, and one of the fastest-growing children’s emergency departments.
With a recent $60 million investment from the province, MCH is expanding clinical services, advancing state-of-the-art equipment, and growing its allied health teams; creating exciting opportunities for those looking to make a tangible impact in pediatric care.
As a citywide Department, our General Pediatrics team is also closely associated with St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. Our pediatricians manage children with a variety of general health concerns from birth to 18 years of age including common acute pediatric conditions and medical complexities. In addition to general pediatric ambulatory clinics the service provides care through specialized clinics. The service collaborates with other pediatric sub-specialists, surgical sub-specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate care while fostering a philosophy of family-centered care.
We invite you to join as we work toward our vision of a brighter path for every child and their family.
