Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our field operations at Highland Valley Copper near Logan Lake, BC.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, enjoys keeping projects organized, and can confidently manage documentation, tracking, and communication between crews and supervisors. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting field operations by handling the administrative and coordination tasks that keep projects moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Receive drawings from document control and maintain current revision filing systems
- Track drawing revisions and ensure crews are working from current documents
- Organize and file work permits
- Update permit trackers and notify crews of expiring permits
- Maintain project binders, turnover packages, and electronic filing systems
- Compile and organize quality control (Q/C) documentation including: Material Test Reports (MTRs), Photos, Pre-pour documentation, Compression reports, Inspection records
- Coordinate with supervisors and crews to gather missing documentation or project information
- Assist with daily reporting, progress tracking, and project updates
- Support scheduling and coordination of inspections, deliveries, and subcontractor activities
- Track project action items and follow up to ensure completion
- Assist with timesheet collection, workforce tracking, and manpower reporting
- Support procurement activities including tracking purchase orders, deliveries, and material receipts
- Prepare meeting minutes and distribute project communications as required
- Maintain accurate records of field changes, RFIs, and project correspondence
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and site documentation requirements for personnel
- Help ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and site documentation standards
- Support supervisors and project management with administrative and coordination tasks as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working with field crews, supervisors, and project documentation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Previous experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and project specifications is required
- Experience with document management systems and construction/project software is considered an asset
- Previous industrial, construction, mining, or project coordination experience is considered an asset
- Ability to understand general project scope and anticipate documentation needs
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Monday to Friday
- 10-hour shifts
- Site-based position at Highland Valley Copper near Logan Lake, BC

Pay: $31.11-$45.99 per hour
