The Commercial Strategy Analyst plays a pivotal strategic and operational role supporting the global sales organization within a fast-paced automotive design-build manufacturing environment. This position partners closely with the CSO, CEO, and international sales teams to drive commercial effectiveness, ensure alignment across regions, and enable high-quality client engagement, proposals, and decision-making.
The role combines sales operations, market intelligence, executive support, and commercial coordination, requiring strong business acumen, organizational rigor, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
- International Sales Team Support
- Act as a central coordination point for global sales teams across regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
- Support alignment of sales priorities, reporting, and communication between regions.
- Assist in preparing sales reviews, regional updates, and performance tracking dashboards.
- Ensure consistent tools, templates, and messaging across global teams.
- Sales Pipeline & Executive Reporting
- Maintain and consolidate the global sales pipeline for the CEO and CSO.
- Provide regular insights on pipeline health, risks, opportunities, and forecasts.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and dashboards for decision-making.
- Ensure sales data accuracy and completeness in collaboration with sales teams (bi-weekly, quarterly and 5 year plan).
- Pricing & Quotation Support
- Support preparation and coordination of pricing for customer quotes and tenders.
- Ensure alignment with margin targets, competitive positioning, and internal cost structures.
- Company Branding & Sales Presentations
- Develop and maintain high-quality sales and corporate presentation materials.
- Ensure consistent global brand positioning across customer-facing assets.
- Adapt messaging and content for different markets, customers, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, product engineering and leadership to refine value propositions.
- Competitive Intelligence & Market Monitoring
- Track and analyze competitor activity, positioning, and market developments.
- Maintain up-to-date competitor landscape reports for the sales organization.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic positioning and deal strategy.
- Monitor key automotive industry trends (OEMs, Tier suppliers, new technologies).
- NDA & IP Protection Management
- Manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company IP protection policies and legal guidelines.
- Coordinate with legal teams to review and process agreements efficiently.
- Maintain organized records of executed NDAs and related documentation.
- Sales Workshop & Meeting Coordination
- Plan, organize, and facilitate global sales workshops and strategy sessions.
- Coordinate agendas, materials, logistics, and post-meeting follow-ups.
- Drive alignment on key initiatives, go-to-market strategies, and account planning.
- Support leadership offsites and customer-facing events as required.
- Executive Support (CEO & CSO)
- Provide high-level operational and analytical support to the CEO and CSO.
- Prepare briefing materials for customer meetings, negotiations, and business reviews.
- Assist in strategic projects (e.g., market entry, key account strategy, partnerships).
- Act as a trusted liaison between executives and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
- MBA or equivalent is an asset
- Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in sales operations, business development, or executive support
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or after-market sectors strongly preferred
- Exposure to global organizations and multicultural environments
- Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (pipeline, pricing, KPIs)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (executive-level)
- High attention to detail and organizational rigor
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with client portals, PowerPoint, Excel
- Understanding of commercial processes, pricing strategies, and contract management
- Discretion and professionalism with confidential information
- Customer oriented and strong communication skills
- Language knowledge : English, and proficient in at least one of the following: German, French, Spanish, Mandarin.
- Travel : 3-4 overseas trips a year
