About the role
We are a growing multi-site specialty clinic network in Mississauga offering allergy, immunology, and rheumatology services. We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our outpatient team on a part-time basis. This is a community-focused role — no ICU, no nights, no weekends. You will work directly with allergists and immunologists performing diagnostic pulmonary function testing in a collaborative, patient-centred environment in a community practice.

- Perform simple spirometry and fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) measurements
- Conduct and monitor methacholine challenge tests (MCTs) under physician supervision per established protocols
- Perform skin prick test/allergy testing (training will be provided)
- Produce accurate, well-documented results in EMR for physician interpretation; flag clinically significant findings in real time
- Provide brief patient education on inhaler technique, respiratory hygiene, and asthma/COPD self-management as appropriate
- Maintain, calibrate, and quality-check spirometry equipment; ensure ATS/ERS technical standards are met
What we're looking for:
- Active registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO) in good standing
- Proficiency in spirometry and PFTs with solid knowledge of ATS/ERS 2022 standards
- Experience with or willingness to train in methacholine challenge testing
- Community or clinic-based experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical placement history considered
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment alongside physicians, RPNs, and medical office staff
- Strong patient communication skills, particularly with anxious or pediatric patients
